At The Epitome, Mississippi’s oldest tobacconist and most unique cigar lounge, we’ve seen our fair share of unforgettable characters—but nothing quite like last Friday night.
A group of ladies entered the lounge, but they weren’t just any group of friends. They were young, full of fire, and hilariously disguised as elder Southern belles, complete with wigs, glasses, floral prints, and plenty of pearls. Think Golden Girls meets Gulf Coast glam.
It was a bachelorette party on a mission—with one very specific request.
"We’re Looking for a Pirate Lady Cigar!"
With canes in one hand and giggles in the other, they made their way straight to the humidor. “We heard y’all have a cigar with a pirate lady on it,” one of the ‘grannies’ said, pulling out a paper fan for dramatic effect.
They were talking about none other than our Sweet Tail Judy — the sultry, swashbuckling character gracing one of The Epitome’s signature cigar bands.
